The raids were led at different warehouse of these firms over the city on Tuesday. Delivery Private Limited, a delivery office of Flipkart and Amazon was raided, products worth Rs 12 crores were seized, and a total of 113 cases have been enlisted against the organizations after it was found that the delivered items did not specify packing dates, net content, MRP, weight and contact details of makers or suppliers, which is considered as violation of Packaged Commodities Act. “Raids were directed at Delivery Pvt. Ltd. delivery point for Amazon and Flipkart; Big Bazar Stock Point; Maagi Food Products; Dabur India Limited; LG Electronic Products; Philips c/o Vulcan Express Pvt. Ltd. at Kondlakoya; Vodafone Stock Point at Kondlakoya; Himalaya Drug Company; Samsung Godowns at Kondlakoya; Satya Trading Company; Havells India Limited, Sachdev Overseas Fitness Pvt. Ltd., Vester Daikin ACs, Butterfly Stock Point, Skyworth Smart TV and so forth,” an official press release expressed. Out of the 113 cases, 31 were against Big Bazaar stock point from where goods worth Rs 46 lakh were seized. A sum of 20 cases of evidence were enlisted against Maggi and stock worth Rs 4 crore has been seized by the authorities amid the raid. At LG Electronic Products, goods worth Rs.1.79 lakh were seized while 11 cases were reserved against Samsung Godowns and seven were booked against Havells India.
