The lady, who works for a multinational in Gurugram, had been coming back from Jaipur with a friend when the incident happened. She said they had ceased the car on NH-48 close Sehrawan after her friend revealed to her that he had attended a polytechnic college near-by. The lady, 32, said she had clicked a couple of photos of an adjacent hillock to send to her family, when she was approached by four or five men, one of whom began shooting a video. They purportedly grasped her wrists after she yelled at them to quit filming her. The men at that point professedly began clicking selfies with her, in dispite of her protest. They at that point beat up her friend. The lady and her friend called the police once they got again into their car and started moving. Police said this seems to have been an instance of ‘moral policing’, where local people had become suspicious of the man and lady for standing around clicking pictures subsequent to having escaped their car. Three of the men have been sent to judicial custody while one is in police care for advance examination. They are as yet searching for a fifth man blamed for partaking in the attack.
