A lady opened fire at YouTube headquarters Tuesday, setting off a panic among workers and injuring at least four individuals previously lethally shooting herself, police and witnesses said.

Officers and federal agents swarmed the organization’s complex in the Bay Area city of San Bruno after receiving  different 911 calls detailing gunfire.

TV news film showed individuals leaving the building in a line, holding their arms up. Officers tapped them down to ensure none had weapons.

YouTube worker Vadim Lavrusik posted on Twitter that he heard shots and saw people running. He said he was barricaded in a room with co workers before being securely evacuated.

Will Hudson said a friend who works for YouTube messaged him about the shooter.

“I think there may be a shooter in my building,” read one text. ”The fire alarm went off so we started to evacuate and then people (started) running saying there was a shooter.”

San Francisco General Hospital got three patients: a 36-year-old man in critical condition, a 32-year-old women in serious condition and a 27-year-old lady in reasonable condition, a representative said.

Google, which owns the world’s largest online video site, posted on Twitter that the company was coordinating with authorities. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said it likewise reacted.

The White House said President Donald Trump was informed on the shooting and that authorities were checking improvements.

Hudson said his friend made it securely back to San Francisco and was in contact with his family. Hudson said he’s wind up used to listening out about gun violence however has never been so near it.

“It just feels strange. It feels that it could truly be anybody. That’s really the strangeness of it,” he said.

Calls and messages to YouTube agents were not quickly returned.
