With this, 39.5 for every penny of PANs are presently connected with Aadhaar numbers. There are around 33 crore PAN cards, while Aadhaar has been issued to around 115 crore individuals. The legislature had made the PAN-Aadhaar connecting obligatory for documenting ITR (Income Tax Return) and acquiring another Permanent Account Number (PAN) from July 1.
