A private construction organisation is confronting the rage of authorities and animal rights activists common sense entitlement activists for professedly assembling a road over the body of a dead dog.

Reports say, that RP Infraventure Pvt. Ltd was responsible of the construction of a part of Fatehpur street in Agra. It is asserted that the organisation finished the project by covering the body of a dead dog lying on the road. It was just when a formal complaint was held up that local police got involved and a JCB was gotten to uncover the dog’s remains.

Local reports imply that the men constructing the roads might not have seen to the body of the animal till it was late. Animal rights bodies though allege that it is a case of gross insensitivity.

PWD in the mean time has asked the company for a formal statement on the episode and has sent it a notice.
