The whole incident was recorded on CCTV. Twenty-six-year-old Dileep, a second year LLB student, had purportedly gone to a restaurant for a meal in Karnalganj with two friends on Friday. A altercation broke out amongst Dileep and few people, outside the restaurant. The men soon began beating Dileep with bricks and sticks, making him truly injured. After two days, he succumbed to his wounds. The whole CCTV footage of the occurrence has now gone viral on social media. Based on a complaint filed by Dileep’s brother, an FIR was registered against three unidentified accused, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Akash Kulhari said. Based on the footage, the cops have captured one accused. The prime accused was identified as Vijay Shankar Singh who is posted as a Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) with the Indian Railways, Kulhari stated, including that the accused is still on the loose. Eatery proprietor Amit Upadhyay, who knows about the primary accused, has likewise been captured. He had failed to inform the police about the episode, said the specialists. The body has been sent for post-mortem and additionally test into the issue is on, the senior authority said.
