A huge fire broke out on the top floor of the building in south Mumbai’s opulent Prabhadevi area. Ms Padukone, who has her home in one story of the 34-story Beaumonde Towers, and her office in another, was not in when the fire began, revealed citing sources. “I am safe.Thank You everyone. Let us pray for our firefighters who are at site risking their lives,” the actor said in a tweet. Reports says nobody has been harmed. In excess of 90 residents of the building have been removed securely, said police. Authorities said that the fire was seen on 33rd story of the Beaumonte Towers at around 2.10 pm. In the blink of an eye, thick dark billows of smoke were billowing out. More than twelve fire motors have been deployed to battle the blast. This is the third major fire episode in Mumbai this month.
