In the as of late closed state get together decision, BJP cleared in all the five assembly constituencies of the area. Credits to campaign did by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party’s national president Amit Shah.

Them two had tended to enormous rallies in the region which was gone to by a gigantic crowd. The party local leaders too did the aggressive booth level campaign by using the cutouts of the leaders including Prime Minister, party national president and party CM candidate BS Yeddyurappa. However, after two months same patterns are presently used as scarecrows by many farmers in Lakkavalli “hobli” of the Tarikere taluk.

As indicated by the villagers of this district, this year because of good monsoon rainfall, sowing is completed in most part of the “hobli” and some farmers are using the old cutouts of the national leaders as the scarecrow. “It isn’t restricted to a specific party. Party leaders had kept the patterns to look for votes in the towns and semi urban areas. Presently the agriculturists are using the same in their fields,” said Rajesh Matapati, a resident of Tarikere and an agro-equipment provider.
