Prior, CSK Chief Executive Officer KS Viswanathan had stated, “We conversed with the Chennai`s Commissioner of Police over the issue. He proposed we move the matches as the circumstance is volatile in the city.” “We have put the ball in BCCI`s court and the board will now accept an approach the issue,” he included. Different Tamil groups had requested that the authorities off all IPL coordinates in Chennai until the Cauvery Management Board (CMB) and Cauvery Water Regulatory Committee (CWRC) as mandate by the Supreme Court are set up the Central government.
