Five men wearing police uniforms supposedly grabbed a 18-year-old girl from a town in Panna area of Madhya Pradesh. While one of the accused has been recognized, the police is yet to find the girl.

“We have formed teams which have fanned out to trace and rescue the girl and arrest the accused, said area Superintendent of Police Riyaz Iqbal, declining to disclose any further points of interest.

Another police official said that on Saturday around 11.36 pm, the accused rang up the police emergency number 100 claiming that a man was lying unresponsive on a street in Bamhurha town, situated around 60 km from the locale base camp.

Two policemen, including a right hand sub-inspector alongside an enlisted driver in a van achieved the spot. Be that as it may, the man who was lying with his face down all of a sudden got up and pointed a firearm at the security staff, he said.

The other four accused, who were hiding away in the area, came around, overwhelmed the policemen and the van driver and tied their hands behind their backs.

The authority denied that the blamed took away outfits and weapons for the policemen.

He said the five men at that point dashed off in the policemen’s van to the young lady’s home in Bamhurha and thumped at her entryway.

At the point when her dad opened the entryway, the men acting like policemen requesting that he join his little girl to the Amanganj police headquarters in the territory, guaranteeing that the family had influenced a misery to call to police for help.

The young lady’s dad said they had not made any such call, but rather the accused demanded that he and his girl join them, the police official said.

They at that point took the young lady, her dad and sibling in the van. In transit, they dropped the young lady’s dad and sibling and took the young lady to the spot where they had tied the policemen and stopped the police van there, he said.

The blamed alongside the young lady at that point drove off in an auto stopped close to the spot, he included.

Police have registered a case under relevant sections for kidnapping against the five accused, of whom one has been identified, he said.

No capture has been made up until this point, the authority stated, including that endeavors were to follow the young lady.
