Known for its witty posts on microblogging website Twitter, Mumbai Police has done it again. Another tweet by the most extreme city police has turned viral, and this time it is bringing issues to light on use of helmets while riding a bike.

The most recent tweet by Mumbai Police, which the handlers of the Twitter account have stuck on their page, takes inspiration from a popular Bollywood melody – Ghar se nikalte hey, which was sung by noted artist Udit Narayan for movie Papa Kehte Hain.

It carried two photos, one of a youth riding a bike without a helmet and another showing Mumbai traffic constables issuing challans to him. The first picture has a caption – ‘Ghar se nikalte hi’ and the other with the police work force says, ‘kuch door chalte hi’.

Mumbai Police Twitter account is known for frequently posting tweets that circulate around the web via social media. Recently, it had posted a message for eve-teasers. The tweet stated, “If you follow her, we will give you a followback.”
