The Congress on Tuesday revealed its statement for the Lok Sabha elections saying that it has “enough to address everybody’s worries” in the nation and will catch story of “polarization” from the BJP to bring it back on the real issues of nation like “unemployment, farmers’ distress and women’s security”.

“I had given two instructions…It should reflect the wishes of the people of the country. And, it should be based on truthfulness because every day we hear lies from the prime minister,” Congress president Rahul Gandhi said in the wake of revealing the party manifesto.

Gandhi said the manifesto  has “five major ideas”. The greatest thought in the Congress proclamation is NYAY (Nyuntam Aay Yojana) scheme, he said. Garibi par waar, 72,000 (War on poverty with Rs 72,000 cash support),” Gandhi said.

He present to display a different budget for the farmers on the lines of railway budget, presently ceased by the Narendra Modi government. The other ” thoughts” in the Congress manifesto, as indicated by Gandhi, are “6 per cent budgetary allocation to education sector”, “150 days of work under MNREGA” expanding the current provision of 100 days of work under the current course of action and push to economy by ensuring “no permission is required for starting a new business”.

“There is nothing in the manifesto that is a lie,” said the Congress party president at a question and answer session in New Delhi.
