Putin invited Xi for a cooking challenge and the two leaders were seen pouring batter and hurling Russian pancakes, called ‘bini’. Putin praised Xi for his perfect shaped pancakes they made. Xi is driving an appointment of about 1,000 Chinese businessmans and officials from the Eastern Economic Forum in Russia’s city of Vladivostok. The meeting, brought about by Putin, is gone for empowering foreign investment, The New York Post announced. In the wake of holding deliberations, the Russian leader welcomed Xi to flaunt his cooking skills at the Sea of Japan waterfront, where they made the pancakes, devouring them with caviar and a dose of vodka. This was not the first occasion when that Putin and Xi were occupied with “pancake diplomacy.” Earlier in June, Putin, who was on a visit to China, made a Chinese hotcake, which Xi later tasted.
