Uttar Pradesh cabinet driven by Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday gave approval to a six-lane freeway that will connect Meerut in Western Uttar Pradesh to Prayagraj (Allahabad).

Whenever complete, the Ganga Expressway, it will be called world’s longest expressway with the approx length being 600 kms.

The task extended more than 6,550 hectares of land will cost around
Rs 36,000 crore to the UP government.

The Ganga Expressway will associate Meerut, Amroha, Bulandshahr, Budaun, Shahjahanpur, Kannauj, Unnao, Raebareli, Pratapgarh and touch base at Prayagraj.

The Yogi Adityanath cabinet likewise approved to a 91-km Purvanchal Expressway link road to Gorakhpur.

The full stretch of Ganga Expressway means to interface Greater Noida (Bordering national capital Delhi) to Ballia in Uttar Pradesh. The Ganga Expressway will connect Delhi to Varanasi and Allahabad and give fast connectivity. The task will likewise give jobs and new work openings.
