Today the CBI is investigating CA Sandeep Shridhar of Sushant Singh Rajput and former accountant Rajat Mewati of the late star.
Since today (25 August) morning there have been some new developments in the death case of the Sushant Singh Rajput. The CBI ‘s Special Investigation Team (SIT), who is staying at the Mumbai DRDO plant, are grilling people at the plant who are linked to the investigation.
CBI officials are again grilling Sushant’s cook Neeraj Singh and his friend, and flatmate Siddharth Pithani. According to the reports, Neeraj and Siddharth have given the investigative agency inconsistent statements and hence the CBI has called for another round of questioning.
In addition, CBI is also examining Sushant Singh Rajput’s CA Sandeep Shridhar. It is a strong indicator the CBI always looks at the financial perspective. Sushant Singh Rajput ‘s father KK Singh had alleged that Rhea Chakraborty had siphoned off about Rs 15 crore from his son’s account. He also charged her to suicide for abetment.
CA Sandeep Shridhar had said in an earlier interview with India Today that the late actor did not have the said sum in his accounts, although it is suspected that they were siphoned off. The CBI has also named former accountant Rajat Mewati, along with Shridhar, in Sushant.
Here are the developments which took place at the DRDO facility until noon today:
9:02 am: Police from Mumbai join DRDO. Another cop in the car of Mumbai Police
